How come USA is super power even though it has trillions of dollars in debt ?

2) If China has so much of money to lend to USA , then why is there country in poverty compared to USA ?

But still CHASE refuses to give me a cresdit card and their reason is - You dont have a credit history!!Now if the ban kI have an account with otself says that they will not give me a credit card then how do I build a credit hisTORY?Are there any banks that will issue a credit card to me?
